From the “Sights of Azerbaijan” series: Our client from India sent a photo near to the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum (Baku).

The Azerbaijan Carpet Museum at the time of its opening (1967) was the first of its kind in the world. The Azerbaijan Carpet Museum presents a huge number of carpets from different regions of the country, created using a variety of carpet weaving techniques with national ornaments.

In addition to a rich collection of carpets, one of the distinguishing features of the Carpet Museum is its building, made in the form of a folded carpet. This building was created in 2014 under the leadership of the Austrian architect Franz Jans and today is rightfully considered one of the most beautiful buildings in modern Azerbaijan.
